Farm Fresh Vegetables and Fruits

At Ranczo Brioso we strive to provide vegetables and fruits that are free from pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. The fertilizers that are used at the farm are derived from the manure of our animals (cattle, goats, chickens, and horses) as well as the leftover milk from our goats and cows. We rely heavily on beneficial insects to combat the pests that might come to borrow from our crops. In addition to having honeybees that help with pollination we also have many native bees that visit the ranch. Some that come by are squash bees, bumblebees, carpenter bees, mining bees, and sweat bees. We also have many varieties of wasps, ladybugs, and praying mantises that protect our crops from typical pests like grasshoppers, aphids, and caterpillars.

We grow a wide variety of fruits of vegetables sour customers always have options when they stop by the ranch. Currently we have crookneck squash, scallop squash, calabaza squash, wax beans, English cucumbers, Boston pickling cucumbers, Armenian cucumbers, and Japanese cucumbers. Soon we will have sweet corn, multiple varieties of tomatoes, watermelon, cantaloupe, russet and purple potatoes, artichokes, and many different types of peppers from mild to XXXXXXXX HOT!
